An 8 days / 7 nights holiday that explores west and central Crete. Most walks are relaxed, along scenic countryside, and with special attention given to activities that will offer insight into local culture and history. The scenery is wonderfully varied, from centuries old olive groves to rugged coasts and ancient ruins, with stunning vistas at every turn. The tour is rated as easy to moderate, including 6 day walks, with a 3-4 hours' duration per walk, on good paths, with a few uneven surfaces. There are 2  longer days, on which  there is alternative transportation available, for those not wishing to hike. The tour starts / ends in Chania.
